I have been smitten by Triumph, more specifically, the Daytona 675.
I completely forgot what I was supposed to be doing.

The beauty is that you cannot go wrong with either (OK, I'm assuming that you're looking at something like a 1098 or a Hypermotard or a Monster and not a Diavel). Very different machines, it's true, but the heart is big enough for a v-twin as well as a triple. I'm sure both of them will necessitate the learning of new curse words, but that's European motorcycle ownership for you.
My all time fave-rave Triumph is the Speed Triple (the last gen with the round headlights; the new gen has not yet grown on me). Someday...until then, I'll live with the Bonnie which I currently have an unnatural attachment to...

I have a love affair with the Triumph street triple! I just love that big gap between the seat and the rear wheel!Also, those gold pipes!

I wanted to try the Bonnie but the list got full, fast. I could only ride the Speed Triple (dear God that thing had so much torque!), Tiger XC 800 (brake was squeaking but it was silky smooth and with ample torque) and the Daytona 675 ABS (OHH SHIIII-)
Of course, I wanted to try the Monster 1200 but I was lumped with the Multistrada 1200S, which actually was waaaay better than the one I rode last year.

You should also try the Speed Triple - same bike but holy mother of Jesus sO MUCH TORQUE!

Diavel looks bad ass in real life. Pics don't do it justice. That big 240 in the back... I would love to throw that SSSA and big silly rear wheel on a Monster
